# OnePlus 13 Launch: Snapdragon 8 Elite & Big Battery

OnePlus has maintained its commitment to featuring the latest top-tier chipsets in its flagship phones, unveiling the OnePlus 13 equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite. This flagship device boasts a cutting-edge BOE display, an IP69 water and dust resistance rating, and an upgraded 6,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery.

Initially launched in China, the[ OnePlus 13](https://www.oneplus.com/pk/oxygenos13) will be rolled out to global markets soon.

The OnePlus 13 screen adopts a 2.5D quad-curved design, moving away from the curves of earlier models. Although it appears flat, it features subtle curves on all edges, making it slightly shorter than its predecessor while retaining a 6.82-inch size.

The OnePlus 13 features BOE’s advanced X2 OLED display, an 8T LTPO OLED panel with a 1440p resolution and adaptive 1-120 Hz refresh rate. It achieves 800 nits typical brightness and peaks at 4,500 nits. Additionally, the phone introduces an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The OnePlus 13’s updated IP69 rating surpasses the IP68 standard, offering protection against high-pressure water and steam.

A new vibration motor, providing “gaming controller level feedback” and measuring 602mm³, is touted as the largest ever used in an Android device.

The rear of the phone houses three 50MP Hasselblad-branded cameras. The primary camera features a Sony LYT-808 sensor with OIS and a 23mm equivalent focal length. It is complemented by a 3x periscope camera (LYT-600) with a 73mm focal range, and a 15mm ultrawide camera with Samsung’s S5KJN5 sensor, doubling as a macro shooter.

In China, the OnePlus 13 runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, while global versions will come with OxygenOS 15.

Completing the specifications is a 6,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The OnePlus 13 is available in White, Obsidian, and Blue, with prices in [China](https://brandligo.com/chinas-ev-suppliers-dominate-german-trade-fair/) starting at CNY 4,499 ($632) for the 12/256GB model and reaching CNY 5,999 ($842) for the 24GB/1TB version.
