LG Unveils Its First 480Hz OLED Gaming Monitor Priced at $1,000
LG’s new UltraGear 27GX790A (GX7) OLED gaming monitor, priced at $999.99, is now available for preorder. This 27-inch model stands out with a 480Hz refresh rate, a 2560 x 1440 resolution, and a rapid 0.03ms response time, making it one of the fastest gaming monitors on the market. Its display is built on a cutting-edge OLED panel from LG Display, first revealed in January.
Compared to Sony’s $1,100 InZone M10S, the UltraGear GX7 offers similar base specifications at a slightly lower price. However, it lacks some of the advanced performance modes and variable refresh rate features found in Sony’s monitor.
