YouTube Adds Device Insights to Audience Tab
YouTube has introduced a new update to its Analytics platform, making it easier for creators to understand how their audience watches their content. The latest enhancement brings device-type insights directly into the Audience tab, allowing creators to see whether viewers are watching on mobile phones, tablets, desktops, smart TVs, or other devices.
Previously, device-type data was only accessible in the Content tab, requiring extra navigation to analyze audience behavior. With this update, YouTube simplifies the process by integrating this crucial information into the Audience tab, where creators already monitor their viewer demographics, returning viewers, and subscriber activity.
